Two Looks One Palette – Etude House My Little Nut Limited Edition Eyeshadow Palette in Red

Upon getting my hands on the My Little Nut Limited edition eyeshadow palette in Red (the other palette is Blue) I didn’t waste another day and immediately tried it out.

Priced at SG$25.9, this palette has 6 colors comprising of rich reds and browns. And in usual etude house fashion, each colors are named “cutely” haha! – Hey Good Nut, Merry Nut, Toffee Latte, Candy Fairy, Nut Cracker and Red Brick.

We don’t have 4 seasons here in SG but since it is always raining these days, I personally find the colors matching with the rainy days.

From the 6 colors, I was able to come up with 2 looks although ofcourse it is still up to you how you want to color your eyes depending on your mood or how you want to mix and match the colors. Everytime I make “looks” for eye makeup, my idea is usually how I’ll be wearing it in office setting [unless otherwise stated :P]

Makeup Brushes Used: I use MAC224 for the base, Etude House for the sides and MAC for the inner corners of the eyes

Look 1 – The Browns

Look 2 – The Reds

Full face look – to complete this look, I used the Nars Sarah Moon Rouge Indescret and some random blusher whose name I forgot πŸ˜€

Compared to the Pink Skull palette (also from Etude House) I think the formula for this one is better and I already find the pink skull good so that says a lot about this palette. I don’t like those very pigmented eyeshadows, perhaps im a weird person but I find very
pigmented eyeshadows difficult to work around. My makeup principle has always been to enhance facial features and not alter your look drastically. Anyway that’s just me πŸ˜€Β  Note that in my pictures I only use natural light so no instagram-y makeup for me πŸ˜€

Which of the 2 looks above do you think you’ll wear more often? πŸ˜€
