Part of my Women’s Day Haul last March 08 was the newly launched Play 101 Stick. This will also be the highlight of my 10-minute makeup challenge which, well I just setup for myself because I’m bored haha! This is a Etude House-loaded post for make-up so let’s start!
Step 1: Prep the skin – I used my Missha Super Aqua Toner, Essence and Moisturizer and then put on my TheFaceShop Power Long Lasting Sun Cream which is a multi-tasker sunblock and makeup base.
Step 2: Prime – I used my Etude House Magic Any Cushion – Violet shade to prime my skin so as not to look “too pearly” once I put on my Etude House Any Cushion Pearl Aura. Since I am using cushion, always use the dab-dab-dab method to even out the color. After putting on these two, I put concealer on my under eye dark circles then lightly brush with some NARS loose powder to minimize the dewiness.
Step 3: Contour – This is the part I’m most excited about because I have never used a cream contouring product. So I used the Play 101 stick in 11 then I just glided it on my forehead to my temple to the lower part of my cheek bone then on my jaw. I blended using my sponge makeup blender on the forehead and lower cheeks then I used a bronzing brush on my jaw to even out the color. Using my finger, I picked some of the cream and lined my nose and blended (still with my fingers) Woohoo, face contoured – check!
Step 4: Finishing Touches – I then used the play 101 stick in 14 as blusher and used again the makeup blender sponge to even out and give a natural flush. I then put some lip concealer on my lips and used the same play 101 stick as lipstick. Using the Etude House perfect brow kit, I defined my eyebrows to give it a fuller look then used the curl fix mascara (eyelash curled with eyelash curler of course) to define the eyelashes.
Done, this is the final look!
If you only have 10 minutes to get ready for work or school, what products do you put in your skin?
