October 29 was the launch of Vice 4 Urban Decay Eyeshadow palette in Sephora SG. And as part of the launch, Sephora has invited a few ladies – including me – to join in their makeup demo on how to work the purples and greens of this latest colorful hue of eye makeup.
It was a very quick event, so quick we finished within 30 minutes! The lead artist of Urban Decay for Singapore (I think her name was Eunice) gave a very efficient demo that she managed to pull off two looks in that short span of time *me: slightly amazed*. Anyway I find it good since I felt it was catered for people like me who don’t really want or just not have that much time to spend on putting on eye makeup
Luckily I was so close to the front and they have a microphone so picking up tips wasn’t a problem. Here are a few of the things I learned:
– The theme of Vice 4 was “Dangerous, Feminine, Fun” – to think about it, the colors on the palette are indeed those 3. I so wanted to get it that night but it’s so dangerous I am not sure if i’d be able to use it in the office (plus I just got a lot of eyeshadows from another brand :D)
– Urban Decay Eyeshadows have Pigment Infusion System, this makes their eyeshadow blend seamlessly even if you put on 4, 5 or 6 colors in one go *gasp* and the Vice 4 lasts for 24 hours
I really thought I should get over my earth-tone eyeshadows so if you are having the same thought, go grab the Vice 4 now. Available at their standalone shops at Vivo City and Bugis Junction and at Sephora for $89. This is worth the money considering the palette consists of 20 colors. As for me, I’ll save up first then I would absolutely give this a go.
What’s your favorite Urban Decay Eyeshadow Palette? 🙂
